Hocker Jr.
flat-pack stool with tool-free assembly
Inspired by the 1954 Ulm stool designed by Ulmer Hocker and Max Bill, the Hocker Jr. is a versatile piece of furniture for the home. It can function as a side table, seat, or footrest.
The revolved circle in the center allows for easy assembly and disrupts the stool's planar composition, integrating it with the surrounding space.
The 4-piece design packs can be shipped flat and assembled without the need for tools. The custom-designed joinery ensures stability without the use of glue, allowing the pieces to be easily put together and taken apart multiple times without degradation.
